Why did the customer contact us?
Customer returned home from vacation to a flooded basement due to leaking water heater. Water had extended from unfinished utility area to the finished portion of their family game room.
Solutions provided:
Water extraction team dispatched to home immediately following free basement inspection by our first responders. Suction equipment and fans deployed first as overall scope of project grew. Ultimately carpet had to be removed to dry wall boards and to prevent growth of mold, antimicrobial applied.
Furniture carefully moved and placed on foam blocking to prevent damage, and further cleaning monitoring of residential home for days after as home owner was assisted through claims process with her insurance.
